Truth:

I have been falling in love with Jaime Lannister ever since he became a POV character, and now, half-way through “A Storm of Swords”, when very interesting facts are coming to light*, and he’s half the man he used to be, good god, he’s so perfect!

*specifically, what he tells Brienne in the bathing room at Harrenhal.

AUTHOR’S NOTE:

Jaime Lannister has flaws. Every George R. R. Martin character has flaws. But I choose to look past Jaime’s two major flaws: 1) he’s conceited in the way of a pretty boy, eldest son who has everything handed to him in life, and 2) the love that fuels every action, decision and thought, though it is for one woman and no other, is incestuous. Not to mention, that woman is a complete monster.
